So the weirdest thing just happened. I'm sitting at work and the USCIS case tracker app sends me a notification saying that my "case status changed". I go to my case and see that I have an alert but when I click on it, all I see that my case status went from "case was received" to "case was received" as of 2:45pm EST. So, now I'm waiting on a callback from Tier 2 because this is the first time this has EVER happened and I'm not sure what to think.

Could this mean they are currently reviewing my case right now? As anyone else had this before? I will try to see if I can post a picture of it to show what it is I'm talking about.

I will not stop praying that this is the first step to your approval.  Any movement is good movement.

I believe it falls into the category of the "Priority Date".  It isn't needed with the K-1.  I do not believe you will be penalized for either a "yes" or a "no" on that question.  The people reviewing it know what is going on.  It is not grounds for denial so if they are confused they will request a clarification.  I do not believe that either answer will surprise the CO.

Agree there's unlikely to be penalization - I personally answered "no" based off the prior threads i read that have addressed the issue.

Well, when I spoke to Tier 2 last Thursday/Friday, they told me that as of 2/5/2018 my case had been finally assigned to an officer for review.

The thing is, when I got this notification, there was another case notification update that was for an August 7, filer whose country is Jamaica that got a RFE. I'm trying my best not to think too much into it but it's really hard when this is the first time I've received any type of notification about MY case for once.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

John, I surely hope so. when I saw that notification pop up, my whole body started shaking and I felt my heartbeat accelerate like I'm driving in a NASCAR race. I typed in our case# wrong when calling into USCIS and almost dropped my phone!

I know exactly what you must be feeling.  I will probably have a massive heart attack when the notification happens... I can't even imagine it truly happening.

I just read in the August filers group that a bunch of people there got the exact same thing. So unfortunately it might be a bug :( got really excited for you there for a while.

Oh well, so much for that theory.

Don't give up yet!  August has a lot of approvals coming.  They had something like 63 approvals in one day last week.

So, interview done today but my fiance got very unlucky with his interviewer. Instead of just accepting a co-sponsor I-134 like most people in London do, this guy wanted me to fill out an I-134 with supporting documents too. I really thought we'd be approved today but we're in AP instead waiting for them to review my I-134 and documents (I literally gathered everything when I got home from work and sent it to my fiance) :(
