Doesn't look like the other RFEs where you can see the "Dear so and so ...." probably a rejection ..... I can read some of the text bleeding through .. something about divorce decree  and word "valid" ...... not good .... not good at all

letter.jpg

It’s probably an RFE then. I’m getting mine today and all you can see is my name and address in the window.

Uh oh .. something is coming in the mail today ..... this from the ominous USPS alert system

I'm getting the same thing today!! In the little window I see the date of 2/6/18 and Page 1 of 1. Who has insight on what the different letters look like.. I HOPE this is not a "thank you for your call THREE weeks ago, however you are still within processing times..." My mail gets here so late in the day and I'm afraid I've already gotten my hopes up. I called in and of course Tier 1 has no other information than what I have.. "RECEIVED" 🙄 I didn't push further for Tier 2 but I'm so anxious!!! Ahhhhh!!!

I may have to go thru my divorce decree I sent and the Chinese divorce decree I sent so many months ago and get on the horn with www.rapidvisa.com about our next maneuver.

Well so far everything was pretty clear, then I was now what? This is the part where things got pretty confusing from NVC side cause for us K1 visa applicants, they referred us to fill out DS-260 which brought you to a webpage telling you to first choose an agent and so forth, but for us, that is NOT the case. Run away from that page cause the form we are to fill out is DS-160. You ask your self at this point, well where am I suppose to fill out this form. Fret not, here is the link you should follow  https://evisaforms.state.gov/Instructions/SchedulingSystem.asp

WOW this is an amazing post! Thank you so much for all of the info :) I feel like this helps me visualize what my next steps will be, even though we're not in Sweden, I'm sure Romania will be pretty similar. Thanks!! :goofy:

RFE ....

The USCIS is rejecting my notarized Certificate of Divorce Absolute issued by The State of Massachusetts Probate and Family Court

also ..

saying they do not have indication of intent to marry from Danjiao.  Could have sworn we included a letter with a clear cut statement.

Rapid Visa checked over all this ......

I sense a pissing match with USCIS ..... headed down to the Probate Court right now to tell them that the FEDS do not think much of their documentation.  WARNING to others who have the misfortune of living in Massachusetts.
