My fiance got there just before 4:30 and she said the line was already long. She was finished just before 11.

Yep. The line was long outside.

When i was on my way, my grab driver asked me if it was the clinic in Manila and i said yes. And he said, "Oh that building with a lot of people outside".

Yep. There were a lot of people outside for sure.

Hi everyone. I'll be booking my fiancee's ticket soon, I just wanted to ask about a transit visa. Does anyone know if she goes from Tunis > Paris > JFK if she needs a transit visa? I wish I had a definite answer because so far all I can is she *shouldn't* but I wish I knew for sure.

She should be fine to travel through CDG (this is not necessarily the case for other EU airports), especially since she’ll have a valid U.S. visa.

My fiancé traveled through there on two separate trips and they did give him some trouble the first time (but still let him travel). Second time we printed the below that shows Turks don’t need a visa and I wrote a letter explaining his reason for travel with my passport information, then he had no issues.

Thanks for the help. I think I will call the embassy and see what they say and then go from there. It takes up to 3 months to get a new passport there.

This is good idea as well if passport would take long time.  In Pk, I heard now folks can get their passport done in 10 days on expedite.

07/27/17 - K1 packet sent at the end of day.

07/31/17 - NOA1

03/22/18 - NOA2

08/28/18 - expected date for medical completion - Sputum test was needed

09/22/18 - anticipated interview date

And this part too! Should I say Yes or No? I'm thinking about saying no since I haven't done my medical yet. Or should I say yes already?

I answered everything 100% accurately.

I said NO

She doesn't have records, in Cambodia they do not do very well historically keeping records. However, in advance and at the medical she will obtain the required information and also receive vaccinations as required.

So why not just answer the question? Do you have the documentation or not? Personally, the "explain" box I don't think you should view as scary. It actually gives you a chance to show you really read the questions and answered with the truth instead of what you thought was the easiest to get a visa. I imagine the Embassy/consulate officer would appreciate seeing some difference in answers.

Thanks @Tony and Tillie and @Naes!

So just paid the fee,  I'm trying to go through my DS-160, in the first part where it's asking for the Surname, should I include my Middle Name too? (And I just ticked "Does not Apply" for the "Full Name in Native Alphabet" and "National Identification Number")

I hope I'm doing this right.

Just put the surname that shows in your passport. For the vaccination, you can tick "yes".

If I remember well, that question asking about debts is about real estate as it says in the topic. I wouldn’t include student loans

I thought so too- but then I found it odd that they said "Mortgages or other debt"
Like why not just say mortgage debt and leave it at that.

These forms really do need to be clearer. lol
But I think I'll take off student loans. Thank you!

Yeah, skip the credit cards ... that's not secured debt ... it can be negotiated anyway

My fiancee called the french embassy today and they told her she does need a transit visa. So who knows...everything else online says the opposite

Today is day 251.  I have asked for a second Congressional inquiry and my online inquiry which was originally filed on Jan 20 has been updated to say that it has been assigned to an officer for response...today.  That usually means that in a day or two they will say that my case is "pending" which means its hanse been assigned yet...deja vu all over again...

It's a new week people.  Let's all get this done!  I love you all.

Doesn't look like the other RFEs where you can see the "Dear so and so ...." probably a rejection ..... I can read some of the text bleeding through .. something about divorce decree  and word "valid" ...... not good .... not good at all
