And this part too! Should I say Yes or No? I'm thinking about saying no since I haven't done my medical yet. Or should I say yes already?

You mean I can set up an appointment without submitting the DS-160?

For your medical? Yes.

They only need to see your NVC letter and the confirmation page of your interview schedule.

The DS-160 is for the embassy so you need to submit that prior to your interview.

yes, just make sure you do submit it,  they said it doesn't become officially submitted until the day of the interview I read that somewhere not sure where

My fiance also ticked it as yes, because you will have to get that done before the actual interview anyways

Hey thanks guys!

Another one, in the PH we use our mom’s maiden last name as the middle name, and there is no spot in the DS-160 for the middle name. Should I just put it in the Given Name section or just don’t mind it?

I think you can include the maiden name after the given name

it should give an example right underneath the box where you put in the same

I just wrote my last name and given name on DS -160 although my middle name is there on my NOA 1, NOA 2, and NVC. I don't think it will matter as much as long as you have your complete last name and first name.

So Our case says it's still "At NVC" since Friday that's when I called in and got the case number. I wanna set up an appointment as early as now tho, but should I wait until it says ready before I schedule?

Just want to give an update on my medical this morning at St. Luke's Extension Clinic here in Manila.

I got there before 5am and the line was long. When i got to the gate, they gave me a number and i was already number 106. Had to wait in line again for registration and biometrics. After this, i was sent to the 5th floor to pay. Here it costs 17,025 php or $327. They sent me to get my lab test done (Blood and urine), Chest Xray, Immunization Interview, and Vital signs/Physical Examination.

For the physical exam, the doctor just asked a bunch of health questions and asked me to undress (not including underwear) and wear a hospital gown. So for those who are curious, the doctor was a woman and she didn't check my lady parts. :D She checked any signs of rashes on my skin, tapped my lower abdomen (maybe to check for something that could be unusual), and that was it.

I was done by 11am and they asked me to come back tomorrow at 8am for immunization and results.

For those who have not done their medical, be prepared to wait in line/wait for your name to be called for a very long time. I suggest not to bring a companion with you as they're not allowed inside the premises. You will just feel bad that they have to wait for you outside for a long time. Be there as early as you can. The place gets packed because they cater to all kinds of visa application (work, families, etc.) so be there as early as you can. I didn't have time to eat prior but i suggest you should eat because by the time i was done with everything, i was already starving.

Crossing fingers and toes that everything will be alright tomorrow when i get my results. Will give another update on that. ;)

We waited until my Fiance (Petitioner) got the email from NVC that our case was already forwarded in the embassy. We opted to wait because we're not really in a hurry. But i believe you can schedule your medical as soon as you have your case number. Just make sure you have a letter or an email inquiry from NVC that contains your case number. If you're willing to wait, i suggest you do but if you're in a hurry then i think you can try send an email to NVC and inquire about your case. ;)
