Up until a few weeks ago, cases were getting stuck at the NVC for a month or so. It's not out of the ordinary, especially if your case has gone to Administrative Processing. Hoping you get your number soon!

 

But I completely understand, we have been stuck for 7.5 months now and the last thing I want to think about is another delay at the NVC or another delay after the interview... just ridiculous.

Just got off the phone with Tier II.  They say 2 days ago they sent out a request for initial evidence.  I'm not sure what that is but it is some real information for a change.

I have case number since day 1 (Jan 24th ).

All they say is it is under processing will send soon ,its been more than 2 weeks.

Looks like mine was dated Feb. 6. 

 

Do we know what the RFE's look like? All I can see is the "dear Lydia" and it has me freaking out that it's a denial.

Is it due to be delivered On Monday?

If it says “page 1 of 1” it’s usually an approval. More than one page that will be your RFE.

This unfortunately looks like an RFE - certainly not an approval since you can usually see "Page 1/1" - although I would love to be wrong on this one.  Let us know when you find out???

Wasn't it you who found that they filed your case incorrectly and not as a K-1 visa and that was the problem?  Or was that someone else?

Didn't you get a packet 3 as well? 

 

For the Amsterdam consulate we had to send back a piece of paper that was the "request for interview". After they receive that, they will send me instructions on how to schedule my interview. The paper said that I would not be able to schedule an interview without returning that paper.

 

Might it be the same for France...?

It was a letter stating that we contacted USCIS and they were writing to tell us that our claim is "currently being adjudicated"

 

"We hope this information is helpful and appreciated your continued patience"

Indeed. It is worth it though. Yes I am. Glendale Heights is just down the road from me. We have a Jolibees close by. I haven’t been there yet but I have a feeling that I will be visiting there soon!

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Yeah bitches - I hate that. Get our hopes up for that - they did it to me at one point too and gosh I cried so much.
