We scheduled my fiance's interview almost 2 weeks after we received our case number....we moved a little too quick ;). But it all worked out!

That is amazing actually!

I'm reading the website right now. So I pay first before I schedule an appointment?

Yes. You will pay and then you will need to use the MVR number (receipt number) to register for an interview. Check out this link. It has helped me so throughout the process. http://dennyeyberg.wixsite.com/filipino-am-visa

Well, Monday will be 30 days from my last Congressional inquiry.  The last one was fruitless as all I got from the Congressmen I could get from any Tier I or any one here for that matter.  We have all heard the BS.  I will have them try again but I dont expect much.  He is even up for re-election and he still doesn't seem to care.

This is getting very trying, it’s like running into a brick wall in every direction! Although I am happy to see that July, August (and now November?!?) cases are being approved, I am starting to lose my patience with this process!! There is no sense behind the approach to processing cases (which we know) and I can’t do a darn thing about it! :jest:Ok, that’s my rant for today, happy weekend!

This is by far the least logical journey I've ever embarked on. I mean, it's absurd to keep people in the dark for months at a time, when it all just seems to be dumb luck as to who gets worked on.  I'm literally just waiting to roll my eyes at whatever they're asking for in our RFE, but whatever.

Try not to let the process get to you too much, it's probably safe to assume you're through the hump of waiting and it's downhill from here. :)

Yes you need to pay the visa fee first. Either over the counter using the MRV slip, or online via bpiexpressonline.com using the online reference number. I will do mine online because I hate going to the bank and waste time waiting. That's what I did when I applied for a B2 visa. It's more convenient and you get the confirmation right away.

For the medical exam fee, you pay it onsite at SLEC when you go there for your medical.

In my case, from At NVC to Ready took 11 days.

Our case got its NOA2 approval on 01/16 was received at the NVC on 01/26, but we are still waiting for our NVC case number.  I have called the last 3 days and they keep telling me to watch my email because we should receive this anytime.  Is your time frame the new norm or is ours?

I-129F Sent: June 22nd, 2017 (via attorney) :D

I-129F Received: June 30th, 2017 (USCIS date) :)

I-129F NOA1: July 5th, 2017 (VJ date)

I-129F NOA2: January 16th, 2018 :D

We got our NOA2 around 6th of Feb and then I started calling 2 days after and  they said that they received our application, then I followed @Tony and Tillie's advise to check on them again since they got their number a day after the NVC received the application. So it was like 3 days after we got the actual NOA2 letter.

Can I register here (http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph) even before paying the fee?

Cough wimpy rugby cough

SO happy the Six Nations is happening right now.

(I'm a Ravens fan and sad football season is over. Not going to talk about the Ravens' London game. My first game 😢)

I couldn't stay up to watch the Six Nations anymore. I doze off at 9pm here. Lol But I get to watch the sevens series which is great too. ;)

We're going to watch the Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco in July! :) So excited!!!! :D

Yes to both questions :)

You can also start the emotional task of packing your bags, like I did last Monday.:P I can't help but cry knowing that I'd be gone for a while to live in another place that I will soon call home.

When we got our NOA2 I was like ... "Yey ... okay."

It took me 2 days at least for it to finally sink in. Plus looking at my closet and all my stuff, it is going to be difficult to sort everything. I need post its and tag stuff that I'll take with me, stuff I'll sell, and stuff I'll give away. lol (Pretty much like Carrie Bradshaw.)

So I did the DS160, I'm waiting for Stephen to wake up from his nap so we an talk about how to set up the appointment. lol
