I called the NVC again today before going to work, and the lady who I spoke to gave me a little more info compared to the guy I spoke to yesterday.

So she said they received our documents yesterday, and I should call back in a few weeks.

So I decided to email the address you shared @John & Rose and the automated email response basically said unless it had been over 30 days since I submitted my inquiry that I was SOL. Oh well, I figure I had to try every avenue!

I just called again! :)

They gave me a case number. How long does it take before it shows up in the CEAC website when you try to look it up?

The reason American football is the real football and not soccer is that we are stronger and faster. That’s the reason for the pads, if we didn’t wear them we’re so strong we would kill each other on the field.

Stop that.  They still basically belong to us... Long live the Queen! :P

Yeah yeah, I’ve got a few Canucks I’ve allowed to be my mates. They forced me to a few hockey games. Those Canadians can sure drink, or maybe they do it to tolerate me

After 242 days.... drum roll please... we got an RFE! It is still possible.

Obviously would have preferred an approval, but I'm literally SO happy to have an update. I'm leaving for Istanbul tonight, but we can send our lawyer whatever they want when we get the letter.

Notified by email/text, says it was mailed Feb. 8. NOA1 June 12.

I’m glad you at least heard something! They have touched your case and now things can move along!

Cough wimpy rugby cough

SO happy the Six Nations is happening right now.

(I'm a Ravens fan and sad football season is over. Not going to talk about the Ravens' London game. My first game 😢)

So it didn't work when I tried to look it up and used NON IMMIGRANT in the drop down thingy, but it did work with the IMMIGRANT option. Is this right?

What should I do next? Can I schedule a medical now?

Ummmm I hate to break it to you but in football, we actually use our feet.... not carry the ball in our hands and run away from each other, and then kick it once in a while.

Haha spot on. I call it American throwball.
