Are they checking the beneficiary after interview, hence it's in AP?

No, I don't think so.  They told him at his interview that if the medical would have been there they would have sent him home with the visa.

Hey All, I don't want to complain because I know so many are still waiting on NOA 2! But the NVC received our case two weeks ago and they haven't assigned a case number yet, most people seem to be getting this in a few days. Has anyone else been getting delays at the NVC?

Same here. My fiancé is calling every second day this week..they just say keep calling. But also said yesterday their computers are down...

That's not entirely unusual. But you can begin calling NVC after 2 weeks, so you could begin there. Our NOA2 was 12/1 and I waited until 1/18 to call (I allowed extra time because I assumed the holidays were partially to blame, in our case). They had actually just received our case the day before, and were able to give me the case number over the phone.

I had the best luck choosing the option for verifying receipt of case (I THINK is Option 3) from the automated menu. Have your WAC# handy. I think they asked for both mine and my fiancé's name (I'm the petitioner) and either his DOB, our both of ours. You can call every single day at this point, if you want to. :)

Håll ut, y'all.

I read that to say that the lawyer is confident that he will be approved so he is just waiting for the NVC #.  Maybe I'm wrong.  I still believe this is the only potentially good lawyer I have read about here!

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.
