Hey All, I don't want to complain because I know so many are still waiting on NOA 2! But the NVC received our case two weeks ago and they haven't assigned a case number yet, most people seem to be getting this in a few days. Has anyone else been getting delays at the NVC?

Yes, it's not going as fast as some people seem to think. NVC received my case on 1/29 and still nothing. There's a thread with other people who got their NOA2's in January and whose cases  are now at the NVC, you can see the posts there as well.

Edit: Here is the thread I was talking about

I believe so. I may be wrong.

I just called NVC, they said they have our case but they haven't entered it to their system yet.

I asked how long does it take for them to enter it to their system and the guy said it takes a couple of weeks.

Yes I have a k2 and we both got the same case number and will get the same interview date. All kids go with the k1 date, less than 14 don't get interviewed just tag along

More than 14 will get asked some questions but will be the same time as your fiancee.

That is the same as I've heard about Manila.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

They say that, but it will be a couple days max, if not the same day they receive the case.

@mysticdolphin95 how are you guys going? Is there a huge backlog at the Auckland Consulate? Someone got their interview today for 26 April!! 11 weeks!! I am still waiting for an interview date, and now freaking out.

Yes, I heard that!  Seems strange because literally 2 weeks ago we were originally scheduled for February 15th...how many people could possibly be applying for visas?

No update from us, unfortunately.  Still in AP :(

Thanks! Yeah, I'm just waiting for the number so I can decide when to put my notice in.

I followed your timeline and the process was pretty fast once you had your case number. :)

Exactly the same thing with us. Received our case on 31 Jan, still nothing. We were told that our case is going to be processed  through “new system”. I guess that’s why it takes so long

Yeah I'll try again tomorrow.

They only asked for my WAC number and nothing else. Is that normal?

It made me think that anyone can just call in and get your info once they have your WAC. :/

When called NVC I was asked for my WAC, name and DOB, and the petitioner's name and DOB.

Yup it moves way faster after NOA2. I've submitted my notice at work and I will POE 3rd week of March. It's getting close!
