LOL thats funny use to drive by there going to Glens Falls! Small world :D

Nice in summer time lol the winters there are brutal!

Yes, it is a small world! I grew up outside of D.C. so when my family moved us up north it was a bit of an adjustment! Love the summers but still hate the long winters

Hey guys ! Looking for some help . Our case was received by NVC on 31 January , so it’s already been a week since there is no movement , no case number has been assigned. We are starting to get worried since most of people got their case# the same day it was received. I’ve heard of some “new kind of system” they are applying , but there is no logical explanation why it has to take so long. Has anybody else gone through the same situation? What did NVC tell you to explain? Thanks a lot

ours took what seemed forever was at NVC on the 18th and received case number on the 29th so eleven days. took another two days to leave NVC and embassy received yesterday.  Feb 6th

Hang in there.  Just a little longer.  Forget about the process.  Focus on other things.  We tend to forget the touch, the smell, the warmth of our loved ones when we are apart.  Keep those things at the top of your mind.  The wait is just time.  Each second that passes is one second closer.  Forget about the wait and remember the hugs, smiles & kisses.  Be strong.  No matter how many inquiries or phone calls we make, we will be approved on their timeline not ours.  Please relax and remember the love.

I don't miss the smell 😂😂😂

Thank you. This made me laugh.

I feel confused.. I am still struggling to get my birth certificate from Guiana (where I was born).. So for the moment I rather not book any medical neither interview date.. (Last time I needed it, it took me 2 weeks just to speak to somebody and a week to get it through the mail)

In the list of documents requested for the Paris Embassy and from few people experienced it recently, they do not want the i-134 (but I will still bring it lol) and about police certificate they say this

"Police certificates: Each visa applicant aged 16 years or older is required to submit a police certificate or "casier judiciaire" from the police authorities of: the applican's country of citizenship, current country of residence (if applicant has resided there for at least six months) and all countries where the applicant has resided for at least one year"

I lived in London for 9 months 6 years ago.. Everybody talk about this "less than 6 months"..

Should I still get a Police certificate from UK ??

I'm having no luck with calls. Is there an email or online support/chat thing I can ask?

I'm actually at a point where if I ask him anything anymore, he's just going to tell them to cancel the application. 😔

I know the feeling. We got into pretty bad fights too about this whole process and timeline.

Give it another few days and when you know he’s feeling a little better you can approach it again.

Good luck!

I would get one to be safe than sorry. Cannot be too over prepared for this process.

Smile and relax.  This is happening.  Let the government work at its own pace.  You will have more control on the next step.

That's how I feel, I don't want to give any chance to deny or delay the visa..

Our Police certificate here in France is free and takes 2 days to get it.. But this about 60 pounds UK police certificate and 10days to get shipped out of the UK (from what I have read) is a bit of a pain in the ***

lol

Muahahaha

Oh, they're going to hate me. I'm a firm fighter. My dad taught me that if I want something bad enough then I should work hard and fight hard so I can play harder with it. 😬

What about emailing one of the addresses that John had shared yesterday? Worth a shot
