Hey guys ! Looking for some help . Our case was received by NVC on 31 January , so it’s already been a week since there is no movement , no case number has been assigned. We are starting to get worried since most of people got their case# the same day it was received. I’ve heard of some “new kind of system” they are applying , but there is no logical explanation why it has to take so long. Has anybody else gone through the same situation? What did NVC tell you to explain? Thanks a lot

Rule of thumb here is to wait 2 weeks after the case has been received to start calling. Some people get their case numbers in a week, but that's not typical. So don't worry, call again in a few days!

Don't stress, they seem to be in the middle of transitioning to a new quicker electronic processes. I'm also caught in the middle of seeing people wait a really long time, (like 50+ days) and people who receive their NVC number within 14 days. NVC reps say it'll take around 2 weeks after they receive your approved application. My application was received on the 29th Jan, so hopefully by the end of the week or early next week!

I got my approval on 12-22. Still nothing from the embassy yet. How do they contact you when they receive you application. And how long did it take them from your approval date. We are also going through the Philippines embassy. Any input would be awesome

I called the NVC 3 weeks after we got our NOA2. I was given our case number on the same call. I tracked it at the ceac website. At NVC on 1/24, in transit on 2/1, ready on 2/5. Did you try calling the NVC to get your case number?

Hi, I'm having the same problem, the max total size allowed has lowered to 0.01MB and it won't let me post any image. Did you find a way to fix it? Thanks!

Nope. I don’t know how people are able to upload gifs either.

I have no idea. It was done through Staples. Had a fight with them as they should not have taken it, seeing as it is a PO Boxno. (Neither me  or him knew this)

It's at the right building, apparently. We have a name for the guy who signed it, but no one wants to tell us if it had been officially received.

Mr keeps getting the same answers from a Tier 1 and had given up. Massive fight between us has lasted 2 days now. 😔

USCIS can suck my left one! I just want a damn answer so we know whether to send our sh!t again.

Have your fiancée mail another packet  to the po box provided on the letter they sent you. If you don’t have the letter call and have them

send you another one. Use overnight delivery from usps. I don’t think anyone signs for these documents in uscis . That’s why they are requested to go to a P.O. box.

Yeah, I'm really concerned. It's been nearly 2 weeks and there is nothing for certain to say it has been received. I'll talk to him and suggest sending it again when he gets up. Currently on eggshells so I'm going to mention it once and just leave it be. 😥😔

Oh nooo! I’m sorry to hear that. Hoping you guys can get back to love and redirect the anxiety and frustration at them (the process, uscis). I don’t know where I heard it, but I don’t think they send items to each other in any of those locations. If a document needs to go to to an especific department it should b mailed to that department, otherwise is lost.

Those who have had a letter from their local embassy (beneficiary); did you get a copy of the entire petition sent excluding evidence?

I got my letter today.

I'm having no luck with calls. Is there an email or online support/chat thing I can ask?

I'm actually at a point where if I ask him anything anymore, he's just going to tell them to cancel the application. 😔
