Hi guys!

We submitted an "outside of normal processing" on Jan 31 - my USC has called today to chase up USCIS. He got a LOVELY guy on the other end of they phone, and he admitted we are outside of normal processing, that our file has been overlooked, and that when this does happen, it is always at CSC due to workload. We are the second call in 3 days he has personally taken about overlooked June cases...

He said we should have a response by 15 Feb from our case inquiry  - it's been received & assigned to an officer at CSC to FIND OUR FILE!!!! All these theories about someone taking it to he breakroom and forgetting about it may ring true...

If they don't answer us by 15 Feb, we can contact USCIS again & they will provide us a with a direct email address for CSC. If that doesn't bear fruit, we can send another USCIS request 30 days after our original. It's one massive merry-go-round without the merry :( (typical processing time for USCIS request is 5-15 days)

He looked over our case and said we should be approved as we didn't miss anything; however, if they can't find the file there is an avenue to resubmit under "USCIS error" and receive an expedited priority on our file.

@John & Rose, @Martin3517 maybe our files are in the same pile???

K1 visas do not have a priority date. The DS 160 does ask for one and you cant continue until you put a date in. We have done some research and many people have used their Noa1 date. :)

Thank you so much! That’s what I have been reading and getting. That priority date is the noa1 😁

He was pretty upset on the phone - I think it was a combo of a genuinely nice Tier 1 & trying to help my guy out. :)

My fiance had his medical today in London! Luckily for him, it was easy and he had no trouble with the doctors or nurses. The only thing he complained about was that it was "painful" when they drew his blood lol. Other than that, he had no problems.
