Ok! I didn't want to give an answer without knowing the exact question as that could have been misleading to others.

So: @Naes and I figured out that invoice numbers are not relevant to K1s. Those are for other visa's where visa fees are paid to NVC. We pay our visa fees directly to the Embassy/Consulate, which does not require an invoice number. NVC seems to give them out regardless.

Sure there's an explanation but my version will have a lot censorship and probably get me banned off this website and I don't want that to happen, so I'll keep my potty mouth to myself!!!

The only silver-lining in this waiting is that by the time my fiancé and I get to the interview stage of this process, I will be so prepared with all our paperwork, that the Embassy Officer will probably look at us standing there together and just say, "I'm not gonna waste anymore of yall time - APPROVED".

My 2017 taxes have been filed and accepted (refund is on its way this week) so I have my 2017 tax transcripts and also my previous years printed (I do my own taxes and I'm partially OCD so I keep everything organized); received promotional raise so while I was overly qualified to sponsor him last year, I'm SUPER overly qualified this year so I have my W2s from this year, last year. More pictures from our last week, and we still talk every single day and night so I have chat logs for dayyyyyyysssssss. But since I will attending his interview with him because I CANNOT AND WILL NOT allow any other reason for any further delays, if they can't see, hear and comprehend the realness of our relationship, then they are in the wrong job!!

That is an awesome attitude.  I agree 100%.  I plan on being there for the interview and I keep looking for the silver linings.

My taxes are done.  Accepted by the IRS but I haven't had word on the refund yet.

It is too darn cold in Chicago right now so it would be a bad way to introduce this beautiful city to my future family.

Both AJ and Aira finish school in March so that will give me a little comfort that they will finish their school year in the Philippines.

Back to the cold...if they get here in the summer they can be slowly acclimated to their new climate...

That's all I have now.  As time goes on I will need to think of more!

Yes, I am running out of silver linings.

The cold part I can sympathize because Reni HATES THE COLD and ironically, this year, Delaware has had a pretty cold winter compared to the last few years so yea, that's another silver lining because by the time he gets here it will be Spring/Summer time.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

I guess we are using the "Any port in a storm" logic.  Let us both hope our loved ones are in our arms this spring/summer!

Wait, are you saying it is colder in Delaware than it is in Jamaica?  :D

Plan on electric blankets and a high heating bill.  I know I am.

yes, I already have electric blankets and know my thermostat at 59° will not be good for my family coming from central America, she complains it is cold now and it is 82° there so the negative degree weather on some days here does she does not comprehend.  But soon she will be my arms and next to me for warmth, until she finds out the electric blanket is warmer.  LOL...

Guys - before we continue with more chatter about cold weather, does anyone know the answer to @SatinderSabiee's question?

Cause I don't.

I vaguely remember someone posting about the same situation before, but I can not recall who that was, or where to find the info.
