I keep checking.

He really had a go at me yesterday for asking to call tier 2 to see if they had received the papers. All I've done is give him directions to talk to the right person as he seems to hit brick walls.

"I'm done with running around after you..." Along with other pleasantries. 😔

I'm really fed up now. He's laying into me, I'm not sleeping well, not eating well, sick every day... Stress is playing havoc with me now.

I've waited since April.

Even had the flickering thought of jacking it all in. He's not bothered by anything, everything keeps going wrong, I'm getting really sick over all this...

Off to have a cry now and hug my cat. 👋😂

Stay strong.

Sending you and your cat some great big hugs. :)

Quick question...

At the very end of the DS-160, right before signing and submitting, it asks if anyone assisted in filling out the form. I helped my fiance fill this out. Does she need to put my name there or can we just say "no"? Not sure if any red flags are raised if she puts yes, then my name.

I think they're more concerned with someone outside of the relationship (like a preparer) assisting. I looked over my fiance's DS-160 and edited some stuff, but I wouldn't put that I assisted him. But even if you did put that, I don't see how it would raise any red flags if you're helping your own fiance fill out the form.

Hi guys, I asked earlier, but no response yet....

Did you only get one copy of your police record or more than one?

Are you taking photocopies or originals?

i only purchased one copy.

You directed the previous post/question to your UK buddies, which is why I didn't reply....

I ordered one copy.

The interview pre-check list (which isn't K1 specific) from the Amsterdam consulate states: Your original (...), English Translation, and a photocopy.

So I'll bring the original and copies of police record, birth certificate etc.

NVC can't do anything about it.

Another member asked something similar recently. He got confirmation from Rapidvisa that DS160 is the moment to correct anything that was overlooked. So just make sure you fill out the info correct on the DS160.

We never called nor did any inqueries and I was wondering I the petitioner will get my notified by mail or online when we get assigned our new case number??? (I dont really know how is called) lol

NOA1 06/27

NOA2 02/05 APPROVED

Congratulations,  now the file will go to the NVC, it will be electronically filed so when calling the NVC to check your case call 1-603-334-0700 wait (1 for English, 2 for spanish), then option 5 for checking status.    after they assigning case number then you can check CEAC.   When the NVC processes your case and sends to embassy they will send you an e-mail stating it is being sent to the Embassy, Tegucigalpa in my case.   It took the NVC 13 days after I had case number to send to Tegus then another 8 days for Tegus to show ready on our file yesterday.

Now i am at the point where I am confused, or just plan do not have much information since it mentioned the embassy will contact my fiancee and give interview date.  but we have not heard anything but may take a while being only ready yesterday.

Just one. Medical will look at it and then take a copy.  Embassy you need to take the original and a photocopy - they will look at the original and keep the copy.
