He really had a go at me yesterday for asking to call tier 2 to see if they had received the papers. All I've done is give him directions to talk to the right person as he seems to hit brick walls.

"I'm done with running around after you..." Along with other pleasantries. 😔

I'm really fed up now. He's laying into me, I'm not sleeping well, not eating well, sick every day... Stress is playing havoc with me now. 

I've waited since April.

Even had the flickering thought of jacking it all in. He's not bothered by anything, everything keeps going wrong, I'm getting really sick over all this...

 

Off to have a cry now and hug my cat. 👋😂

My fiancé got an email TODAY from NVC stating our petition left nvc to the US Embassy in Paris ! So I thought this was the "In transit" they talk about.. 

 

AND The Nvc Tracker is back at working for us !! So Last time I could check it (friday I think) it was "At NVC" and is now to "Ready".. So I don't know what to think.. 

 

Will wait a bit for the embassy to contact me..

people’s livelihood are at stake here, while one orange person dictates how and when and even if we should have the right to enjoy it... no offense to anyone (just venting)

5 total 3 I believe virgin cases.

 

 I know this sounds mean but this is not that irregular.. every month people get stuck at background and security checks like this. We are just more aware of this because the wait itself was too long and everyone got to know each other way more.

I did the same thing this morning. I called NVC and they said my case was already at the embassy. I called the Philippines embassy and they said my case was ready a few days ago.

I believe you can call yourself. When they ask you if you are the petitioner or a representative just say you are the representative. Quite honestly, I’m a firm believer that if you want something done right, you must do it yourself. Asking Atti to do things can be challenging too 😂😂 so I know what you mean... this is way too stressing. I have put on like 15 lbs, forget about fitting into my wedding dress which was altered to fit my shape 4 months ago!!! 😂😂 I’m doing aromatherapy so I can find some calmness because I felt so close to losing my 💩 so many times.

Goor morning guys! Wishing all of those still waiting a positive day today. I just received my NOA2 last night after only 1 week of sending the RFE response. I was wondering, what now? How long typically is the wait for the NVC to create a case? I called them and of course they didn't have anything yet? Based on what I read here it seems like it's different for everybody. What is the approximate waiting time for NVC to act? Hopefully is not as long as the USCIS

When did you mail your RFE back?

I can call????? That's going to leave me with a huge bill though. 😔 I wouldn't even know when to call either, due to time zones 

 

Yeah, so stressful. All this on top of my usual work stress, I'm surprised I haven't had a breakdown yet. Can't even bring myself to get out of bed today. 😑 Cr@ptastic.

Well, I mailed it on the 25th of Jan and USPS lost it, couldn’t find it, so I overnighted copies to them on the 2nd of Feb again and apparently last night they received both of my packets.

can you use skype to call? It’s cheaper than calling long distance.

Case is ready 🤗 not much left. 

Took 1 week for a case number and another week for case to be ready.

Ehhh...I feel bad now that you say that. I gave my fiance a hard time for wanting me to call as well. To be honest, they do give you a run-around and unless you've tried calling yourself, it's hard to know how frustrating

it is. I would suggest just doing it yourself or wait a few days and tell him to do this:

 

Call and then let it ring, don't press any buttons. After 3-4 minutes of holding, someone will pick up and start speaking to you in Spanish, tell them "English please" and then ask them about your case. They will ask for receipt number and then tell you that your application is within normal processing times and to call back in 30-45 days. At that point, ask to speak to a Tier II agent, politely but firmly. He may have to do this a few times but eventually they will say that they will transfer him. He may have to wait for a call back, but he will get to speak to a Tier II professional.

But again, this is very frustrating and it doesn't mean that you fiance doesn't care about the case, it's just that calling USCIS is such a soul-sucking experience that no one should go through.

i think everyone hear has hit brick walls with their other half lol. My fiancé hates calling places, and he was similar, telling me to be patient Lol

If it helps, I rang uscis myself and got out through to a tier two. 

My fiancé was present, but he didn’t speak when I rang and spoke to a tier 1.

i told them he was with me, and had just rang (which he did and was given  incorrect information) and I wasn’t satisfied with what he had been told. 

I explained that we wanted an update, despite what the website says, there were many petitions approved after mine, and we just wanted an update, as we are paying for a service that after 7 months hasn’t been fulfilled. She put me through and I arranged a call back (you might need to wait, as it needs to be a us number). I then explained the same to a tier 2. My fiancé then piped up in the background to say he was present. He told me the background checks had been completed and were satisfactory
