Okay, here goes the detailed interview.

So, his appointment was at 8:40. He got to the embassy around 8:15. He was allowed in but had to wait until it was his time to go. His first stop was window one. He spoke with a Filipina who wasn't very friendly (shocking! i've never encountered an unfriendly Filipino). He said she took a look at his NBI, CENOMAR, and DS-160 and asked if we had pics together. He said he had tons and offered to show her. She didn't want to see them. She then proceeded to ask him questions about me like what is my full name, where do I work, what is my address, etc. She also asked how how we met and how many times I had visited. He was then told to wait and then was called for window three. This is where he spoke to an American gentleman. He said he wasn't rude but you could tell he had a case of the Monday's (which I have almost every day at work ). He asked the same questions and asked for the NBI, CENOMAR, and DS-160. At the end (it only lasted about 10 mins) the consular told him that everything sounded good and asked for his passport and stamped something. He was handed the piece of paper from the embassy that asks you to confirm your address. He was done within 50 minutes. They never asked for updated letter of intent from petitioner, evidence, or the I-134. He said he wasn't nervous at all but was relieved to be done! Heck, I am relieved that it is over.

Looks like we will be able to travel back together on 2/27! POE will be Chicago!

Congratulations again! :D

I read a similar story here on visa journey. The lady said that when she went to her interview, the person on the first window was not that friendly. The american on the next window was rude and kept raising his voice cause her fingers were all sweaty and the bio reader couldn't read her fingerprints. Then the consul was nice to her.

So i guess it's safe to say that windows 1 and 2 suck.  Hehe

Glad you guys are gonna be together forever soon! (L)

23rd. Can’t wait for this whole thing to be over.

I am checking three times a day in case they have any earlier appointments from cancellations, but my fiancé is actually here from 16-24 so he will be able to attend with me which is REALLY nice and then I can follow him back about three weeks later.

EXCITING!!!

Ugh, sorry to hear the doctor was rude. :(

But yay for being done! Paul's interview is the 22nd and I'll be flying in on the 20th so I can go with him to Stockholm for his interview. Speaking as the USC, I'm pretty sure your fiancé is pretty stoked to be able to go with you, because I know it gives me a lot of relief. Even if we can't actually attend the interview itself, it helps to know we'll be there physical whenever it's over.

Good luck!!!

Håll ut, y'all.

HELP!

I put our NOA1 received date as our priority date on the DS160. then i read that k1 petitions dont have one.

do i have to redo my ds160??

Because it could potentially cause you to pay the fee over again, you can always call and verify with them. There is an American number that the USC can call, also; my fiancé (the beneficiary) did not include his middle name on his DS160 and was worried this would be a problem. Because it was so late Swedish time when we realized this and was still afternoon here in the states, I called the American number and they spoke to me with no problem, told me it's not an issue. They may be able to clarify for you based on your particular situation. I would also suggest calling instead of sending an email, which is another option on the website, because Paul did that first and the response he got appeared to be a pretty basic, canned response, in my opinion. I got more information when I called.

Håll ut, y'all.

As for the rude doctor, she literally argued with me and refused to accept that I would have NEVER tried drugs in my life.  I really haven’t! There is nothing to indicate that, and I’m not kidding, we went back and forth about ten times with her trying to get me to say I tried it at university, but of course, I wouldn’t, because I haven’t.

The good news is that on the form it says ‘Do you have any reason to believe the applicant is providing false information’... when I was filling out my part, I took note of where the box was, and as she was finishing, I saw her tick no, so at least I only have to handle her rudeness and not deal with her saying I was lying.

Oh my god, this makes me nervous for my fiance. His medical exam is tomorrow afternoon in London and I'm freaking out. Hopefully it'll be smooth sailing for him. I'm sorry you had to go through that!
