Ok so I might have a small problem, but not sure...hoping someone can help.

On the I-129f, I filled out the passport expiration date for my fiance (applicant) of April 22, 2023...but its actually April 2, 2023. Somehow they didn't catch it at the USCIS. I can now input it correctly on the DS-160, but will it cause any issues at the interview? Or does the interviewer only care about what is in the DS-160?

Not totally sure about that, but I got a new passport 2 months ago, so I'm filling out DS-160 with my new passport. Which makes me believe that they'll go off info from the DS-160.

So I guess if they didn't catch it, fill out with the right data and I think you'll be fine....?

Actually I just called Rapid Visa and they said the DS - 160 is the opportunity to update/edit any information. So it wknt affect it. I feel much more relieved.

UK Filers....

Just booked my interview (23rd Feb) and then POE should be March 16th giving me an extra week in case return of my passport is slow...

Anyway - there are 2 available appointments right now on 22nd (I have a wedding to attend that day so couldn't take one), and other than that, 26th, 27th and 18th all have a couple of slots free.

Just wanted to update you since I had the knowledge.

Hi! Do you choose when your POE will be? How many months can you delay it? Is there an expiry date?

After visa is issued you have up to 6 months to travel to USA, and once here 90 days to get married. If you are bringing a K2 they have up to  a year to enter USA after visa is issued.

Nope! NVC will send the petitioner a letter in the mail about your case being forward to Embassy. You just need to send your fiance(e) the I-134 with supporting documents! The rest is up to the beneficiary.
