Our RFE was dumb.

They said my fiancé didn’t fill out the criminal convictions section so they are asking him to complete that portion. Sign it and send it back. But we are 100% we filled it out and it was signed.

So we will be sending it back on Monday, over night mail.

Hoping that we hear back mid February.

Interview end of March?

May I say I told you so eeheh

I'm so happy it was just that :D I think Interview end of March the worst is very plausible!!

That's great! I'm glad it's something dumb and easy - and they did not send you to an impossible journey of getting this or that document.  Interview end of March - Sure! Maybe we'll be sitting right next to each other at the waiting room :)

i am most grateful for this vj family right here, we listen to each other rant and cry and sob, lift spirits with encouraging words, pray for one other, go out to source information to answer another's question, it's a lot of emotions here. Remember every relationship going through this is in its trial phase, it will be over soon and we will get to be with our loved ones. I am an I-130 filer but I love the energy here so I'm staying 😂😜. Those waiting for approval, it will come just as others did. Those at Nvc and interview stages , good luck 👍🍀 and please update us till You move. As time goes, people will begin to disappear from here and start their lives with their partners, but we all will forever be grateful for these hands we held and hands that held is in our trying time. Love you all ❤️❤️❤️

This is beautiful!

Ours is in transit now going to the Manila Embassy, 8 days after it was received at NVC  Do you think i need to fill out the DS160 and get my interview sched?

regarding the interview though, it says it was provided by the NVC, but... how would i know when? Or should i go ahead and schedule mine via Online?

what did you guys do?

thanks!

I just got the packet emailed to my fiancé (usc) yesterday. It says to do the DS-160 and then arrange a medical (which I’ve already done as I used the NVC number I got when I called )

Then a list of documents to gather including I affidavit, fiancés w2, birth cert etc etc .

When i have my medical results and all documents gathered I am to submit a “Notice of Readiness” which they included In the email: I submit it to NvC and email a copy to the embassy and the NVC will issue an interview appointment and allow me to then pay my fees .

This is just how it is for the Dublin Embassy , I know it is different for others!

Ok so I might have a small problem, but not sure...hoping someone can help.

On the I-129f, I filled out the passport expiration date for my fiance (applicant) of April 22, 2023...but its actually April 2, 2023. Somehow they didn't catch it at the USCIS. I can now input it correctly on the DS-160, but will it cause any issues at the interview? Or does the interviewer only care about what is in the DS-160?

@Nicolenpaul do they email the petitioner or the beneficiary?

My experience: the email was sent to both me (beneficiary) and my fiance (USC) (in the same email)
