Thank you so much, he doesn’t have any tax returns and we can’t wait until he can file one, so it was a grand relief to discover it’s only needed for the self employment income. We freaked out we wouldn’t have enough ‘proof’, although the earning level is well above poverty guideline.

So, I'm about to smash my front room up.

He mailed our documents through Staples. Tracked and signed for. 

Sent on Friday last week. No problems. 

Just called and they don't know where it is. Apparently, they don't mail to PO Box numbers so it's at what ever additional address was on the envelope. Someone has signed for it but it is in another place that isn't the I129f pigeon hole

We don't know what the hell is going on and nor does anyone else! Lots of phone numbers, dead lines, unmanned phones...

 

Seriously, what the #### is this joke of a company playing at?! What the hell was that $500 odd for?

 

This is causing SO much stress and tension.

 

Anyone else had this problem? 😑

 

[Edit] Just seen that on their website they don't deliver to PO Box... Erm... So why accept the package and take his money?! 😠😠😠😠

They kept a copy of what was sent, and are going to resend I believe???

So just got off the phone with the Tier II Immigration Officer. He took a look at our file and does not see any recent movement. He said our file has been assigned to an officer, but the officer has not made any progress on our case yet...

He then put me on hold so he could put in a note to the officer to contact us, and that we would hear back in 2-3 weeks. Last thing he said was not to call back for 5 weeks! 

 

The immigration officer was nice, and I hope the note he sent to the officer helps get our application moving. I'm still feeling frustrated, looks like it's going to be another 2-3 weeks minimum. I guess some officers are much slower than others...

Ok, so I saw a letter from the USCIS in the informed delivery app, but the postal carrier MISPLACED it! I called a Tier 2 to see what it was and.....

 

WE ARE APPROVED! 

 

Approved Jan 29 (RFE received Jan 24). No update on the website.
