So I thought it was uscis. Just resend everything as @Little_Vixen said don't even think about them finding it..

Ignore them and resend it. I can't believe how can they lose something going to a government office!

I’m just wondering which service option to use now... if the priority 2 day delivery is indeed delayed or stuck (I’m on the south east coast so package goes to California) what will happen to the overnight option, or should I just send it regular mail... ughhh I’m going to their office at 8 am this morning and give them a piece of my mind.

Feeling a bit hopeless at this point, seeing many RFEs being turned around here on this board in a week.

We received a letter for the RFE on January 8th for more photos and a different copy of my divorce decree. I followed the instructions and included more evidence (much of it duplicated from the application submission because the RFE letter requested it): flight and hotel recipts along with passport pages), included photos with an explanation on the back of when, where, and who is in the photo, a notarized letter from my father attesting that he has been aware of our relationship and has met my fiancée, and organized and tagged all the documents by date.

I sent the package overnight on the 11th and it was received the 12th. Someone touched our file on the 19th with no status update and no letters in the mail since then. Repeated calls have yielded little more than “you need to wait 60 days”, which puts us at March 13th.

Is it possible that our case was lost? Flagged for something and is languishing in some sort of audit?

I know patience is our virtue here, and the wait is something we must do...I just feel...impossibly anxious and desperate that something is really wrong with our case.

I heard it can take up to 60 days for them to respond. I hope you will hear back from them soon and it is just an oversight on their part and that there is nothing (flagged)on your file. You will be ok and soon will be celebrating your approval. At least you know they have your documents so that’s a step further. Sending you light, hope and love.

Oh my gosh. He's much better. Can't get him to shut up now haha. So much happier and healthier, thank you.

Arranged a date night for tomorrow. Hopefully reflecting on some good news and planning next steps. We'll see.

I hope you get everything sorted. 😞

This whole shambles of a process shall soon be a memory to laugh at real soon.

Hopefully.

Can’t wait to be laughing and sleeping too (apparently) lol... I’m so tired of frustration and tears, they can go and take a long, long vacation for all I care.

Is there a way to see if something is flagged on the file? What sorts of things can throw a flag? I spent most of my life rooted in one place and then for about 4 years before I met my fiancée traveled a fair amount hitting 10 countries between Europe and the Middle East...

There is really no way to know at what they look at. If you don’t mind me

asking what was your RFE for?

Sure, they wanted more photos of us together and a signed divorce decree, I’d sent the judgement (in Connecticut the decree looks like a terribly formatted webpage that you printed off some random website so I’d thought, “Judgement is the decree and these two pages are extraneous).
