I looked at the copy of everything we had sent and saw that we have sent a stipulated judgement, signed by a judge. I'm not sure now if that is the same as an divorce decree:o

I had sent the signed and dated copy of the judgement which was apparently not the decree. We got an RFE and I sent in the decree signed, dated, and notarized.

I've done that but I'm so lost.. I found a site for US embassy visa interview application but when I started the form it asked me what visa category i was applying for... the K visa wasn't listed... I then noticed it for a form for a 'non-immigrant' interview. When I went to the form for an immigrant interview it was asking me for my DS-260 application number. I'm not sure if im on the correct website or not?

Can we just send the decree now instead of waiting on an RFE?

Just wait for the RFE.  They generally responded quickly to RFEs.  It shouldn’t delay you more than a week or so.

No for the embassy booking your k1 visa is a non immigrant so you only need the DS160.

Gooooooooood morning all! It must've been late last night that it was updated, but my RFE has already been processed and the petition is now APPROVED! I sent the RFE last Thursday, so it's taken them a week to get it done!

Last time I got a case update, it rained them here as well, so I'm hoping to see lots more people wake up to happiness this morning! <3

That is awesome!!! Congratulations!

Did you call them or they updated the website?

Considering contacting my congressman or senator...which one do I pick? Thanks!

Check there assignments .. if one is on the Judiciary or Immigration Sub-Committee then go with that one !!

The offices of members who have been in office for a long time tend to have bigger, more effective staffs but they all help each other.

Look for one down in the polls !! Generally these staff are desperate to help because constituency services are key to vote getting / building support.

I'm getting very close to going to my Rep.

It was insanely quicky! But I am sure it depends on embassies. In the Phils, they receive cases electronically, so it is a lot quicker than sending cases via DHL. We received our case number on 1/24, it was "in transit" on 1/30, and was "ready" on 1/31. :D

Ours is in transit now going to the Manila Embassy, 8 days after it was received at NVC  Do you think i need to fill out the DS160 and get my interview sched?

regarding the interview though, it says it was provided by the NVC, but... how would i know when? Or should i go ahead and schedule mine via Online?

what did you guys do?

thanks!
