It’s going to! I wish it were now. USCIS needs get their stuff together and pick up the pace or do something that seems relatively productive.

She's original from Turkey, living in Japan. She will interview in Japan, travel back to Turkey to see her family and then do POE to the US (so coming from Turkey rather than Japan).

Totally understand the feeling! I'm actually more excited to quit my job and go to Turkey after 5 years!!! 

 

Hoping my grandma can hold on till then cause I can't wait to hug her!! And say hey this dude of 6 foot 3 is my fiancé...

LinkedIn just let me know that someone from the US Dept of State looked at my profile. I have no connections there and my company doesn't do government contracts. Is this seriously their idea of extreme vetting? 🤔

 

Not sure if I'm more disappointed that that they're potentially using a site that would let me change my job to Queen of Antarctica to cross reference or that apparently our government doesn't realize that private mode exists. 🤦‍♀️

Lol, that's hilarious and spooky at the same time!

 

But you could use this to your advantage! You should post a bunch of stuff related to your SO on social media (make the relationship look more legit)!

Stay Optimistic (I know it's hard to say it since you have been waiting so long). One thing you said before makes me smile. How Rose and you consider this a small part of a larger lifetime together.

Congrats and good luck on the interview! That was a fast turnaround. I'm happy for you and wish you all the best. You are so close to the finish now.

 

Ours is still "at NVC" and tomorrow will be the first week it's stuck there. I guess God knows Tony and I need a little bit more time. We got our docs ready for the medical and interview, but we're not ready to POE soon cause of work related stuff. He is wrapping up his project at the Mighty MO in HI, and I am just about to render my 30-day resignation notice at work. We should be done with these and ready to POE after 6 weeks.
