I don't think I can be on here anymore I'm really tired of looking and it feels like 75587 will never have a update and my hope is gone all of the hope I had is gone I'm so happy for you all that received an update on their  case, its a blessings that this process really go so much faster than it has been for you guys

Hang in there Kween... I completely understnad the feeling. When the scnas hit June, and I was seeing my approval, I started sinckign and took a break form Visajourney.... it only lasted two days, becaue there is so much positivity in this group. The reality is that sooner or later you will get an update... and given the approvals rates, the odds are in your favor.

Hang in there...

Thank you so much.

The easiest way way is to call NVC once a week until they say they have your petition. They have a website. I think it is CEAC.

June 28th Filed and yesterday Jan 19, WE WERE APPROVED!! Does anyone know how long it will take to send my petition to Brasil? Such a long wait!!!

30 to 45 days for USCIS to send it to NVC. 2 to 3 weeks at NVC and then maybe another week to get to the Embassy.  Hopefully USCIS starts sending things quicker. That is the long part of the wait.

Congratulations!

Still waiting here also so believe me I understand. I have been trying to keep busy to preoccupy myself but the sadness seeps in sometimes...hoping we aren’t going to be the last ones stuck on this island! Hang in there and I hope you hear something soon!

Honestly i dont know if i can anymore. I have turned my household into sadness,i dont talk to anyone anymore,i stay in my room,i dont watch tv i just go to work and come home and sleep i dont even eat. I have been missing my fiance so much, its almost a year since i seen him,i cant go back because im at a new job,but me missing him has turned to frustration when i talk to him sometimes so i dont talk to him as much. Im just really exhausted with not knowing anything.

Really?  I was always told to start asking for a number after a week!  That is awesome. I have quite looked at that spreadsheet yet. I will make sure that I give better info. Thank you.

My last response was incorrect!  It is better than I thought. It is only a few days after getting to NVC!  Finally some good news.

I've been looking into form I-134 affidavit of support. I'm slightly confused and was wondering if anyone knew anything more about it?

I am the beneficiary and my partner Savannah is the petitioner. Her income can be a little hit and miss and currently just about covers the minimum financial requirements to sponsor me to enter the country on K1.

I saw that sometimes they will take into account the beneficiaries ability to work (age/health/physical ability) and wont look so closely at the petitioners financial income.

I have also heard one of her family members could sponsor me instead. Her father has offered but I can't find a clear cut answer online on whether this would be acceptable or not. Anyone know the details?

Thanks very much!!

Hello Junies,

Could anyone tell me if I can already schedule the medical and start collecting documents like I-130 and Police certificate and stuff? My NOA 2 was Jan 11th. I would think it's too early but my embassy is like the least busiest, so I figured that -+ 40 days for NVC and 2 weeks while they process the petition/send it to the embassy/give me the interview date is not that big amount of time. The medical expires in 6 months. I don't know why I can't start collecting all of that now, but maybe I should wait more?

Please do not despair dear May and June filers. You are strong and there is less waiting every day.

You'll have to check with the specific embassy, but yes, usually co-sponsors are allowed.  Both the petitioner and the co-sponsor have to fill out the I-134 and provide evidence.

I received my call about my T1 inquiry. As expected everything is fine and told to keep waiting. She did say that my petition was assigned to an adjudicator on Jan. 10th which seems pretty specific so who knows. She said to call back if I havent heard anything in 10 business days. Guess I'll pencil in a call on Feb. 5th. I also have an InfoPass appointment on Tuesday, but not really expecting much more information. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Would be nice to hear something before I go back to visit my fiancé on Feb. 9th. June 12th petition.

Sent an email to my representative about a month ago and received this today:

Thank you for contacting the office of Congresswoman Beatty. I have just received your message about your fiancé and the K-1 Visa process. You would not be the first individual to contact us regarding the timeliness of USCIS processes. I apologize for the inconvenience and the delay.

Our office is able to make a congressional inquiry on behalf of your fiancé if you would like for us to do so. I cannot not promise a favorable outcome, but we are able to get a response with any updates and some additional information. Please advise if this is something you’d like for us to do.”

i just got notice of RFE Thursday. Is it still worth a congressional inquiry at this point?
