Just got off the phone with Tier II.  They say 2 days ago they sent out a request for initial evidence.  I'm not sure what that is but it is some real information for a change.

Does anyone know anything that can make the Administrative processing wait longer after the interview? Longer as in more than a few days? Just curious :huh:

For those who'd responded to an RFE ... how long did it take before you guys heard back from USCIS?  And when you heard back from USCIS, was it an approval or did you get another RFE? We've been waiting for 5 business days ... not sure if this is a reasonable wait time to call Tier 2 for the result.

Our RFE was not a complicated one.

There is a June 6 filer that shows up in the app as approved today.  That is a good thing.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Yep, updates are inconsistent, even informed delivery is not always 100%. The most we can do is call every so often.

If they request any additional documentation/evidence, that's a fairly obvious reason for AP delay.  Otherwise they seem to be pretty vague on what causes it, this has the best info I've found on it. https://pennstatelaw.psu.edu/sites/default/files/documents/pdfs/Immigrants/Administrative-Processing-FAQ.pdf

 

Although, I would think that Bulgaria would have a relatively low rate of having extensive AP after interview. Usually it seems like Iranians and Syrians get the worst (2 - 3 months of AP after interview seems not abnormal from high risk countries).
