They received ours january 17th, assigned case number on the 19th and it was ready at the embassy on the 25th. I've heard for some people it can take a week or 2 for case number though, it's random.

Were you checking NVC status daily, and if you were do you know how long it took to get to "In transit" after you got you case number?

I checked once or twice a day and I never saw it switch to "in transit". It just went from "at nvc" to "ready". A kind user told me that it could have been "in transit" for just a few hours and I missed it.

So he wasn't able to enter one time?

Surely he visited other times that should still show up on the I94? I believe you're supposed to get the info from online yourself....? Anyone - correct me if I'm wrong.

You can check here:  https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home

Select "Need A History Of Your Arrivals & Departures?"

Yes he had requested it himself and it didn’t work...he hasn’t tried to obtain it again since then. Thanks

Maybe I am entering the wrong or it is not loaded yet, I received my number on Monday but the system shows

Invalid Application ID or Case Number.  do we enter the letters-number all together or add spaces and do we enter consulate prefix since we choose the consulate?  if I try invoice number then it says did not return any data.   Approximately how much time from receiving number to check Ceac on average as I understand it takes time to enter in system.

Try In Visa application Type to pick Immigrant visa IV, when I do it with Non immigrant visa (NIV) it does not work..

Yep, the CEAC NVC tracker shows you 'Ready'.

Not sure how long it will take, but it's normal to go to AP before it's issued.  Hopefully done today/tomorrow as his medical results were sent last Friday.
