I see so many here that are replying to so many different posts in so many different forums that it makes my head whirl around .. whew ..

I can't seem to keep up .. my method is this

I first go to "view new posts" and try to find anything within those many pages that I might be able to help with or get help from (I do occasionally find posts that I do have some knowledge in .. hehe)

I then go to "recent posts" to find out what the hot discussions are.

And finally I go to the forums individually to see what has been posted.

Do you watch posts/threads? Subscribe to them? Get immediate email when someone replies?

When you view the forums do you use low-fi version? do you change the configuration options at the bottom of the forum view page?

When you view threads do you view them in outline, standard, or linear form? do you opt to track the thread?

I am not online as much as many are here; maybe because I work outside all day, and then there is lots to do outside when I get home as well .. I also have to have find time to spend time with my wonderful / beautiful Mylene :) ..

Any help at all would be a great help.

Thanks,

CB

Random browsing with follow-ups to discussions I've participated in.

rebeccajo,

You are one of the posters that I was directly referring to in the original post.

Do you subscribe to discussions that you participate in or do you just watch the thread for changes?

I am so sloooowwwwwwwww when it comes to replies to discussions that I've participated in and I never remember which ones I participated in days before because so many times the same question is asked in different ways.

you can find your posts if you go to your profile or click on your display name and click on "Find Members Topics" or "Find Members Posts" and it will bring you to a list of your posts or topics you started.....

Yes. And also, if you're viewing a forum, you can filter to only the posts that you've replied to, among other filtering options. Look towards the bottom right.
