But they were granted temporary legal status.

I'm no professor of legal-ness, but wouldn't that make them legal?

Nope

Deferred action, even a God like Obama can not quite do that.

You are going to have to elaborate a little more.

Due to the annomous nature  of this forum..

I don't really know who you are.

But your original comment implied that they were not here legally. Lol.

None the less, all of us want it to be permenant. This mess would have been avoided if trump was a stronger leader and a better negotiator.

I can't see flags because I mostly use the mobile website.

Even if I could.. it doesn't really matter where you come from. The US is supposed to be a melting pot of cultures.

Really? President Trump has been an extraordinary leader in this case.  Instead of overstepping his authority like the previous POTUS, he is making Congress do their jobs......he is leading.....

Which gave them legal presence, hence the reason why they qualify for a social security card.

Even my son couldn't even qualify for an SS# until I filed the birth abroad papers.

That's funny.

I've never heard of a leader that holds 800k of his people hostage to fund a useless border wall.

I've also never heard of leader that pardons people who were found guilty of violating the civil rights of US citizens.

You've never heard of Obama, Bergdahl, and Manning?

No one has yet explained to me why these furloughed "nonessential" governmental employees are so essential.

And ("Surprahz, Sarjent Carter!") it's the weekend and most government workers aren't working anyway!

Hey now I am essential no matter what you say.

And therein lies the key... they are NOT here legally.  They are just not reportable because Obama went against the will of Congress and made up his own "law".

He also re-wrote the rules on who could be detained, causing thousands less illegals each year to be deported.

Complete incompetence and lack of leadership from the President.

LOL McConnell voted against his own bill, for procedural reasons but still funny.

Did you even watch the vote? Because I did and he was the last one to vote. Complete lack of leadership from the Dems on catering to Ilegals instead of citizens.
