I'm not saying it's impossible. I'm just saying it's a fairly significant claim, and one that I think should at least have a shred of evidence before it is suggested.

If you meant just specifically we missed out on electing one specific liar...well we would have missed out on that regardless of the outcome of the election. If we elected Clinton we STILL would have "missed out" on electing a liar, which makes the statement rather pointless.

You may not have been around during the election, it was all about who was  objectionable and Trump won that, he was up against some serious competition.

You don't need evidence.  Everyone knows , Cuba emptied their prisons into the USA . There was even a movie that alluded to the crime wave it created. Scarface.  If you don't know about it Google Mariel boat lift

I've never said it is impossible or it has never happened. But if someone wants to claim a country is guilty of it you should have evidence for that.

 

This is why I said I assume Trump doesn't actually think the Mexican government is actively involved in sending criminals across our borders. That would be a bold, inflammatory claim that would require evidence.

 

A far more likely scenario is he just didn't craft a well thought out speech (or his speech writers). He says things like "When Mexico sends us..." But I think it's safer to assume he doesn't actually mean Mexico as a country is actively doing it.

I know what Cuba did. I never said it was impossible or never happens. I was asking if anyone thinks Mexico specifically is doing it.

With one big difference, the Japanese are actually sending cars over.
However you can't send people somewhere as they aren't objects to be send in reference to Mexico, no jails are being emptied there 
and "send" here.
People decide for themselves, they do not get send and are accountable for themselves unlike cars. 
The collective whole does not send humans. Humans decide to leave.
I know with the alternate reality things can get confusing sometimes but let's not have an alternate English language.
