Hi guys,

It's my first time here and I have a couple of questions I hope you can help me. My son just turned 22 and he just got his Interview Schedule for next month. Is he considered a child or adult, and does it affect his interview? My husband petitioned him.

My questions and concerns are:

1. He was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Will this affect his medical exam and his overall petition?

2. Any tips and sample questions you can give me for his interview? I truly appreciate all the help!

1. That won't affect anything during his medical exam

2. there are a variety of posts you can check out here on VJ just use the handy dandy search bar on the top left and search "interview questions" or "'VISA TYPE' interview questions"

as for determining whether he's a child or not i believe there's some sort of CSPA calculator, but if he was able to get an interview date I'm sure he's still a child. is he in the immediate relative category or a family preference?
