Calling all fellow Vj-ers!!

Anyone applying for March? What documents have you gathered so far?

This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes Psalm 118:23:)

Kindred spirits are not so scarce as I used to think. It's splendid to find out there are so many of them in the world.”

Filed: Citizen (apr) Country: Mexico
Timeline

My wife just submitted the N400 online last night so I guess we should be in the February files group but hope you do not mind if we tag along with the March people.  It is nice to be able to pay with a credit card and have an online login in order to track progress and also upload additional documents (if needed).  She front loaded the documents but you never know what you might want to upload later!  Looking forward to sharing our story and reading your stories during the next chapter in this long journey.  I remember when we first filed the K1 paperwork I was looking at a person's post within the citizenship section of Visa Journey where they just became a citizen and commented their days of piles of paperwork and money spent and waiting are over!  We are looking forward to that day.

Some documents that were uploaded were:

Copy of her green card (required)

Copy of my passport to prove US citizen (some type of proof is required)

Copy of marriage license (required)

Copy of last four years of IRS tax transcripts  (last three years required)

Copy of letter from our church showing we are active members with report (that is used for tax deduction) that shows our weekly tithe for the last four years.

Copy of mortgage

In some cases I made copies of items we used when we filed for ROC...felt like we were going through that again!
