I was wondering as to how the petitions are handled by the adjudicators after NOA1 and transfers.

Are the adjudicators for the beneficiaries are country specific?  Or the petitions are evaluated randomly, first come first served basis.

The veterans of the forum may want to share their knowledge.

Thanks.

Not a veteran, but I-129F petitions are evaluated in a generally random-ish order and without distinction of beneficiary's country. I recently read a post somewhere by a former adjucator, will try to link below.

This post was very educational for me. Was written in 2007, so search the forums in case we've more recent "tell-alls".

For the most part, they will adjudicate the I-129F the same regardless of the beneficiary's country. There may be some variances, but for the most part the I-129F looks at the petitioner's circumstances and eligibility to petition for a fiance. IOs shouldn't be looking a the benficairy's country when determining what petition to adjudicate next.

Petitions are generally adjudicated first-come, first served. Some may take longer than others to adjudicate, and sometimes a case is picked up by an IO that works those types of cases more quickly than other IOs. So rather than thinking of it as a single line, think of it more like a grocery store with multple aisles being worked on at once. Sometimes people will go faster than you, and sometimes they will go slower than you. It doesn't mean anything is wrong with you or your cart. Sometimes you're lucky and other times you're not.
