Times used to be a lot shorter - We got approved NOA2 in 28 days when we applied in 2016 but now it's taking closer to 6-7 months to get the NOA2, so the answers you heard that were shorter may have been right for those people at that time but processing times always vary. If you fill out your timeline, VisaJourney will give you an estimate based on your processing center and what others are responding with. It will also connect you with a portal for your country so you can see consulate reviews, wait times for interviews and other country specific information for your fiance.

Joining that group and filling out your timeline might help you see when others get approved so you know when it's more likely to happen for you.
