Hmmm... Dont worry dear... Am very sure everything will be fine. Mine changed to issued right after the interview but I have still not had any test from DHL. Don't know if I should go there or wait for the test

Thanks for your kind words. You can just wait and go there next week Monday 1/29. Eitherways, your visa should be ready for pickup by end of next week. Have you tried checking your ustraveldocs account? You can get the status there too.

Hi.. any news?

My visa status at ceac has now changed from Refused to Ready on 1/29/2018. I understand this means it is going through some kind of Administrative Prosessing (AP).

I also received an email reply from the U.S Ghana Embassy saying that my case officer has confirmed having all my files in my folder and that when all necessary checks are completed on my case, I will be set.

Apparently this is the normal process after a waiver is approved and you submit all the necessary documents during or after the follow-up interview.

So now I know I have to wait till all checks are complete for my case before I get my visa issued. So I’m still praying to the Lord so the process can conclude soon.

My main concern earlier on was when my visa status was still showing Refused after my interview and didn’t really know what was going on.

If I knew the process, I wouldn’t have panicked the way I did but now I know and this at least will serve as a guide to anyone going through a similar process reading this post.

My interview was held at the embassy in Accra and My Visa has been approved. I have created the profile as requested. What is next? How long will it take to get my passport back with the visa?  Will I be given other documents apart from the passport?

Can you share your interview questions with us?

Hey Hellat, have you gotten a txt to pick up your visa yet? If not then just visit the DHL center and check, you would be surprised it will be ready waiting for you when you get there.

My visa status at ceac just changed to Administrative Processing (AP) on 1/30 after almost a month after interview.

I’m still praying that this process conclude quicker for me and anyone going through the same process. 😊🙏🏾🙏🏾

So I went to check just this afternoon and it has been there since. Apparently, my online registration didn't go through so they could not reach me. Passport and packet received now. Glory be to God the most High!!!
