My fiance and I submitted our K1 visa application August 2017.  Not until after my recent trip to Brazil to visit her during the holidays, I saw her ID and I realized that I completely put the wrong DOB for her on our application!!  Number one, I'm thinking to myself "How in he heck do you make a mistake like that?!? " and second I'm thinking and stressing about USCIS.  I immediately made a e-submission on the USCIS website, and still waiting for a response.  Should I go ahead and call them anyways?  I keep thinking that once they read the e-submissing, they might think "what took them so long to see this error?" We're human, we make mistakes, but I just don't want this to be a hiccup to receive the second NOA.  I just keep thinking this will make a delay to receive the second NOA, and/or get an RFE because of this :(

I've read older posts, and some people have mentioned that my fiance can make the correction at the interview, or wait until the application gets to NVC and make the correction there.   Just looking for more insight and "piece of mind".  Thank you all!

You should contact them. It actually happens that's why there's a case  status "date of birth updated" I don't think it's that rare. Don't worry.

I actually got an email from USCIS this morning.  Basically saying they will review my case and give me a notice at a later date. Hopefully it ends on a positive note!
