Hi!

We got confirmation that are file was forwarded to the California Service Center on October 23, 2017. Three of my friends have married non us citizens, and they all assures me the process would be easy. They only waited three months to receiver their NOA2. However, everywhere I look it seems that it's taking six months at the very least to hear back.

I'm wondering has anyone recently gotten their i-129f approved and if so what date did they receive your file. When do you think us late October filers will hear! Thanks

Hi,

This process can take about 4.5 to 7 months on average now days.(some a bit longer)

3 months is very rare unless you're military or have an expedited case of some sort.

Currently they are processing mainly june and some early july cases.

this year since May processing times for the petition got really long and there are May filers still waiting at day 250 and some June's got to 220s.

july just started when July 1st hit 190 days.

so the average for the moment looks like 185-210 days. We don't know if it will get better as since last June approval times are only growing.

unfortunately last year's fast processing times are nowhere to be seen.

good luck.
