My husband is in Jamaica.

I have all paperwork ready to send to PO Box, this week,  but I have a question.  We no want to also file for our 12 year old who is my stepdaughter.  Do I have to pay the $535 for her with the initial I-130 or does this get paid for in phase 2 when I get the application approval letter?

I was also talking to an attorney, he told me to get a notarized letter from her mother to send with the packet, does it go on first go round or phase 2?

Passport photos, do I send with the I-130? 

 

I have been looking for fee prices, but do not understand.  I know the initial I-130 is $535.  What is the next phase and price?  The attorney said $1500 for each person.  Is this true.  That what it would cost for me to hire an attorney.

You need an I-130 for stepdaughter. Without fee ($535) included you’ll just waste postage fee as they’ll send it back.

No, each I-130 requires $535 fee.
