Last April my foreign fiancé and I traveled to Canada to attend his younger brother's wedding. We have pictures of us formally dressed up really nicely together. I want to mention that we were in Canada for his brother's wedding, and add the picture we took together on that day.

However, I am a little skeptical to include this because I was reading here on VJ how some OPs had their visa rejected/denied because the CO suspected that they were already married. According to the OPs, they were wrongly accused because they added pictures that were "too formal" or showed some type of wedding celebration.

So, should I add that we were in Canada for the wedding and add the picture of us dressed formally, or will they see this and assume that we are married (which we are not)? It was a really special moment for us, but I'm not sure if it will be risky adding that part to our application or not. What do you guys suggest? I am aware that pictures counts as secondary evidence, but I want to include them anyway.

Thank you in advance.

Yes do not do it.

One member on here had to prove it wasn't their wedding.

Wow really?? Do you have a picture with the married couple to include instead? That'd be way better.

Do you have the invite addressed to you both and a thank you card from them? This might be better.

I was one who included photos of us at  my father in laws second marriage as evidence of us going to family events and had to offer to get fil marriage cert showing my husband as witness to prove it wasn’t us getting married after they questioned it at our adjustment of status interview.

Though they did also keep asking about children he had and I do wonder if they googled him and found the photo of him and his half brother that a colleague used as his photo on their work website.
