Okay so here's the situation.

I am Australian, and my fiancé is American.

We are about to start the K1 application process.

I currently live in Australia but have a current work visa for Canada.

As the current K1 processing times have slowed right down its crossing my mind to move back to Canada while we wait so we can be closer and see each other more often. (That flight from Aus to the USA is not an easy or affordable weekend trip)

If we file now and I have Australia as my home country how difficult is it to change later on if say I am then residing in Canada?

Any advice or info is greatly appreciated!
