Did you guys include your medical exam with your application? My attorney told me not to because of the 1 year validity.

I did not include mine, you can send it later on or show it at the interview

I believe it is too early to call it hasnt been 30 days yet or can I? And I have been checking on the phone application and the website it doesnt say anything either. If by the end of day Monday I dnt have anything I will call them 1st thing Tuesday.

Hello ladies,

 

I called this morning to ask about my biometrics letter, and I was told I have to wait 30days from the date of the NOA (Jan17th) not 30 days from my priority date (Jan 8th) and that Im still withing the reasonable times ugh

The NOA was dated January 18th, so I still have another 10days to wait, hopefully I get the letter before that.

I just got a very yellow looking letter saying that I had not submitted my medicals but (according to this letter) it’s cool, because you can just take it in for the interview.

Im really sorry about that, I was just about to ask you. I hope 30 its just an estimated number and you get it before.

My attorney also told me that. Not to send the medical because it might expire before I get the interview. Ah, I see you received the yellow letter lol.

Hello HappyBunny welcome, let the wait games begin, Patience I will say is the keyword for this, easier said than done ahah.

You should get text messages/emails (if you signed up for it) within 10 days I believe if your applications were complete, then hard copies after 2-3 weeks and biometrics after 1 month or so, thats the average so far for this thread if I remember well.

Hi Nouchigang. Thanks! I didn't sign up for email, text. Didn't even know it was an option. I guess Ill wait for the hard copies! Hope someone opens a February filerrrr thread lol. Thanks

I didnt do it either but hopefully time will go fast, and you will get NOAs in the mail soon. Checking your bank accounts to see if they cashed your checks is a good indicator too.

I got my biometrics letter in the mail today yayy, 1 month and 1 day after my priority date; the others on the thread got them faster, 2-3 weeks after their PD. Depending on your state it changes

Good news and not so exciting news:

I got a text message/email plus an alert on the app letting me know that I will soon receive in the mail a RFE ughh,  I am very curious to know what it is about...

Hopefully it is something that I can easily fix and send back by the end of the week. Will keep yall posted when I get it in the mail.

 

On the another side, the good news is I was able to walk in today and get my biometrics done, 10 days in advance woot woot!!

 I went in the afternoon around 2:15pm and it was totally empty, I was the only one in the center.  It is only when I was done that a family came in.

The guard and the associate were both really nice and didn't even ask why I came early. I was in and out in 10min max.

I would recommend, if you try to walk in early, to go in the afternoon because from what I read on other threads and saw today there are less busy and you have more chances to get accepted for a walk in.
