Inexpensive I-693 doctor in Illinois recommendations?

It doesnt say anything about TB testing

I didn't have any immunization proof. So, I had to get MMR, Tdap, Flu shot, and Varicella. However, CS only asked if I've had chicken pox and I said yes, then I got to skip varicella

The required tests are TB, syphilis, and gonorrhea. I was recommended the blood test for TB and still came back false positive due to BCG. My x-ray came back negative.

Okay so I'm in the same boat as you. What was the cost of all of that for you?

The exam costs me $150. Then, my insurance covers all immunizations and doctor administered's lab tests. However, my insurance requires MMR to be administered in doctor's office to be covered.

 

So, I paid $25 co-pay for doctor visit to receive MMR vaccine and all the required tests (TB, syphilis, and gonorrhea). Not all the CS I called gave me the option to get the tests done elsewhere. Some quoted me ~$350 for exam + lab tests as a package.

Just got my Tdap, Seasonal Flu, Polio Vaccines.

 

I got blood titers done for MMR, hepatitis B and TB test.

 

Also took urine tests for gonorrhoea, syphilis and chlamydia.

 

All results will be back on Monday. Hopefully I'm not forgetting something else?

Yes, that should be it.

I assume you're counting on CS accepting you've got Chicken pox to fulfill the requirement of Varicella vaccine?

Just to avoid confusion, the TB and syphilis were done by blood right?

To OP: Just to clarify you will need to have either had Chickenpox as a child or the Varicella vaccine. If you didnt have it as a child or the vaccine then you will need that vaccine as well. 

 

The vaccine is newer in the US so it is a little more confusing because people like me actually had Chickenpox as a child but the next generation received the vaccination.

Tests are to be done by the doctor, not prior to the visit. Or did you have the visit today?

I did the tests at a healthcare clinic today, I’m still trying to find a physician that’ll do the immigration physical for under $100. im being quoted prices in the $300 range just for a doctors physical when ive had the tests done already.

I think you would be hard pressed to find any doctor - immigration civil surgeon or not, to see someone for under $100 in the US.

Also just to clarify was @Lemonslice saying that a civil surgeon might take official immunizations records from another clinic but not always except blood tests from other clinics?  Did you call the civil surgeon to find out if the Civil Surgeon will take the test results from another clinic and in what forms the tests need to be in (blood versus urine tests)? 

 

I believe this is what previous posters were suggesting.

I'm afraid getting things done separately might end up being a more expensive option. I've never heard of any immigrant paying under $100 - let us know if you get lucky.

I called up numerous places and they said they’d accept the tests if I could show them evidence, which I will

ok, official reference document for syphillis says otherwise.
