Hi all,

came to the USA on a B1 Volunteer Visa to volunteer at a local church and met my current girlfriend (Soon to be Fiance) whilst i was hear during that time (July 2015-June 2016). I was offered a Job in the February 2016 and we began dating on 31st March 2016 with the final paperwork for the work visa being sent off May 13th 2016. We decided to start dating thinking i would be coming back to work full time here on a different visa with no intention to marry.

Well unfortunately the visa the church applied for was denied. Not at the consulate but from USCIS as the church didn't meet a small requirement for the work visa. This process only just recently finished (July 2017). Throughout this whole process me and my now fiance (Got engaged 13th January 2018) have stayed together with her managing to visit for 5 months during the waiting. We want to get married using the K1 visa process as we both wish to live in the USA together.

How do i address this previous petition denial within the K1 petition? how much detail is enough and where in the petition should it go? Happy to address it but don't want to go over or under the amount of detail necessary for it to cause a problem for us.

Thank you all for your help!
