On 18th December, 2017 my elder sister took part in the interview at U.S Embassy in F.4 catagory. their visa status always shown READY. The status already updated five times. And last updated on 10 January 2018. But till now their visa is not being issued. So they are in very tension.  consular officer said that you will get visa within 10-15 days.

hi

it was but it has happened years ago, specially with long waits, the priority retrogresses and even if they have had their interview, the visa won't be issued until the priority date becomes current again

years ago it was really terrible, I hope it isn't happening again. some people waited up to 2 years after they had their interview for the visa to be issued, because of the huge retrogression in certain categories
