Request for Evidence (with a deadline) Please help

Hi all, 

I have just received an RFE for our I-751 that we filed in Jan. 2017.

I understand most of what they are asking, however, I do have some questions.

The 2014, 2015, 2016 residential leases do not appear to be for current address - Moved a few months after we filed.

The joint bank statements not enaugh - only sent a few before 1st Green Card & 3 months back before we filed. Should I send all Joint Accounts Statements for the last 2-3 years?

The affidavits from 3rd parties do not include all req. info - guess gonna have to ask for new ones.

The joint Federal Tax Returns do not include evidence they have been filed. Such evidence could include an IRS received stamp or be in form of federal tax transcripts - WHAT? Every year we did our taxes online on HR Block, and we printed them from there. Even have evidence we received a check from IRS last year & we had to pay the 2 years before that.

 

Honestly, we would've preferred an interview since there's nothing to hide, rather than this.

Any advice would help,

Tax transcripts always preferred over copy of tax returns- so head to your local IRS office or have it faxed or mailed to you. 

 

Benefits - HR should be able to provide you with the proof of beneficiary statement - I know where to find mine in a pdf with HR’s processing date and signature. 

 

Lease - provide new lease info and explain the move. You should’ve filed AR-11 address change and USC I-865 for address change when you moved. 

 

Bank statements - one every 2-3 months since obtaining LPR status. All pages included. 

 

You dont need affidavits if you have plenty of other evidence. 

 

So, proof of new address - drivers licenses,  mail sent to one or both of you at the same address, EOB from Medical insurance, car insurance, renters insurance, tax transcripts, travels together ( lodging, flights, ticket stubs, photos), if any pets vet paperwork identifying owner(s), wills, power of attorney...

Good advice above... although I will admit that if we get an RFE, (fingers crossed that we don't) I fully intend to bury them in paperwork... I will send every bank account and credit card statement I can find! After waiting almost 17 months with no response, I'm feeling a little like being passive agressive (you want more information? I'll send you ALL the information!)

I plan the same. 

Only issue is there are just so many bills I can get online. Verizon for example charges $5 / bill.

My biggest concern is that we barely use our Joint ACC. Rent, a few bills & thats it. & since my wife enrolled in School & money are tight we really haven’t used it almost at all..

The rent and bills (I think) is what they want to see, really.
