Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum but my wife and I are ready to file a I-751 to the USCIS and I'm just here to give a list of items we are going to send and if anyone here has a critique on what should be added.

1. Marriage certificate

2. Mortgage Agreement with both names/signatures

3. Pregnancy certificate + ultrasound pictures

4. Only filed 1 tax return since the greencard so only 1 years worth of tax return. (Can add one more if I wait for my W-2s to arrive for this years tax return)

5. Copies of checking account statement

6. Condo Insurance with both names

7. affidavits

8. pictures throughout our marriage.

In terms of vehicle, we lived in the city so we used public transportation until recently when we moved to suburbs. Right now I'm using my parent's spare car that I used to drive and my name isn't on the insurance so none of that is possible.

My utility bills area also under my name since I just transferred service to my residence without adding names.

If you think that more should be added to the list. Please advise.

Thank You.

1. Marriage certificate

OK

2. Mortgage Agreement with both names/signatures

Good

3. Pregnancy certificate + ultrasound pictures

As harsh as it might sound, USCIS won't care. As others have said here, having a baby does not prove a valid marriage (in the eyes of USCIS--they care about co-mingled assets)

4. Only filed 1 tax return since the greencard so only 1 years worth of tax return. (Can add one more if I wait for my W-2s to arrive for this years tax return)

Filed joint married or individual (or whatever the term is) married? The key is to file "married."

5. Copies of checking account statement

Joint account? Good. Include samples spanning your entire marriage

6. Condo Insurance with both names

Good

7. affidavits

Considered weak evidence, but won't hurt

8. pictures throughout our marriage.

Not bad but not great either

401K or annuities/investment funds listing each other as beneficiaries

Life Insurance policies listing each other as beneficiaries

Joint credit card statements

These are big ones for USCIS and LIFE---wills and medical power of attorneys

Thank You.

Best of luck to you!
