H1B to GreenCard / K1?

I am a US Citizen; my girlfriend is currently in the US on H1B visa.  We have been in a long distance relationship for about a year - I love in Phoenix and her in Chicago.  

We are thinking about getting married and her coming to live with me in Phoenix.  As she is currently on H1B she can only work for companies which are willing to sponsor her.  I want to allow her a bit more flexibility though than only companies which can sponsor H1B.

Should we get married and go straight for the green card or can we go for the K1 first and have her move here to Phoenix then deal with the marriage and all that later?  Just trying to figure out what our options are.

Why would she need a K-1? Is she planning on going back to China or is her visa about to expire? If she's already in the country she can marry and adjust her status. No K-1 needed.

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

K-1 requires her to go home.  Is that what you want?
