You are clearly trying to push a misleading narrative.

What's new lol.

The woman in the OP video is MLK niece.  Her viewpoints and opinion greatly differ from his children.

Some amazing mental gymnastics on display here. I give you a 10.

and yet you simply stated the Niece of MLK is more credible than others.  Would that include his children?

When a member of MLK's family speaks on civil rights issues, it obviously receives a lot more weight and attention or you would not know about it. Pretty simple concept

I believe Mango Dulce's question was does the niece's statements hold more weight than the children's?

Depends on the person I guess, but from a purely analytical viewpoint on a scale I would say the closer the tie to MLK the more weight it may carry, so yes I would say  one of the children might have more weight with the general public than Alveda, and Alveda would carry more weight than a random unknown person.

You're missing a covfefe on the end there ;)

I'd actually say there would be some instances where a niece may be a better source than children. It depends on the age of the children at the time of their father's death. I don't know how old this lady is compared to his kids, but if she is significantly older and spent time wither uncle she may actually have a better view on what his thoughts were. His children, if they were young kids at the time of his death, probably create most of their opinion on their father from what they've heard from others.

I don't know the specifics in this situation though.

I think this is a great example that not everyone grouped into the categories of identity politics think the same way.

Asking a niece vs child what someone else "would think" is always going to be tricky.

Obviously their own personal beliefs will impact how they speculate about the deceased. That's only natural.

We are really just hearing opinions from different people. None of them truly represent MLK. Unfortunately he is gone.

Asking anyone, no matter the relationship is purely speculation.  Heck, Jesse Jackson probably knew MLK better than either the children or niece, and he gave Trump a lot of praise way back when.

Didn't Trump have a lot if different opinions back then?

People change, and therefore other's opinions of them may change as well.

Are you suggesting that Trump changed his opinion and became a racist?  I keep hearing that those that identify as right of center can never change.  Of course back then Trump was a NE Liberal.

Trump has a long history of racism.  There are several examples but his longtime promotion of the idea that the Presidents birth certificate is fake is just one example.

I am not sure where you got the idea he was as liberal, I don't think he can be classified a conservative and there is nothing moderate about the man. He is his own political animal.

Then why did Jesse Jackson give Trump so much diversity praise?

When did you start putting stock in what Jesse Jacksons opinion was?  Are you trying to boost the BonaFides of Trump as some sort of Civil Rights champion?
