Well she divorce the guy in Korea but I guess the marriage is still legal in the Philippines

She needed to report the divorce to the Philippines...  This is going to take a lot of money and time to fix

Still legal in Phil but USEM has last say if she gets her visa. If she is legally divorced in Korea and can produce the divorce decree then it won't be an issue. US does not care if it was registered or not. Just that she is single at the interview. She is, by way of the Korean divorce.

Not so fake if it is recorded with PSA.     No reason to panic.   Even though divorce is not recognized by the Philippines, it is recognized by the USA for the visa process, so all is fine.

Your fiancee will need a copy of the divorce decree (plus the English translation) for the embassy.

No issue with CFO either, she will need to bring a copy of the divorce decree (with English translation) to the GCP seminar.

Not required, or necessary for the visa process.

Well yeah I guess so, it does happen a lot you know when a foreigner comes and marry a young girl say like 17 or 18 change some documents around and if the girl acts up he divorce her and and screw the rest, for witch you can’t blame him I spent a lot of money trying to get to this point I honestly just want to know if there is a way around this

Well marriage is not legal under 18 from what I recall and only with consent after (between 18-20). So she married a foreigner? If so he can get a divorce and she will be fine as long as he gives her a copy of the decree.

Make sense but she nor I know how to obtain the divorce decree.

A decree is just the paper you get from the court saying that the divorce is legal and final.

Well the divorce been finalized since like 2012 I’m saying do she need to go back to Korea or Koran Embassy in the Philippines???

Embassy will not be of assistance.  They do not chase down legal documents

Divorce Decrees

Korean divorce decrees may be obtained by writing the Family Court in Korea where the divorce was filed.

You must contact the ward office where the divorce took place. Should you have difficulty reaching an English speaker at the appropriate ward office and/or Seoul City Hall, you may wish to contact the Seoul Global Center (SGC) for assistance: by phone at (02) 2075-4130, or by email at hotline@seoul.go.kr.  SGC is a comprehensive support center for foreigners operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and offers assistance in English and other foreign languages.
