Hello everyone , Im a new member of this visa journey forum .I have my interview last Feb. 21 , 2007 , everything went well my interview , but the girl told me and my husband that there is a FBI background check , so she will approved me as soon as they heard from the FBI and she told me that the FBI is running 2 weeks behind since i had my interview , anybody who experience like this ? how long this gonna take ? Please give me some thoughts

Sorry to hear you have been caught in the FBI Name Check hell.... there are some people who have only had to wait for a few weeks to get cleared but there are some who have waited over a year...

Do a search here for Neamecheck and I am sure you will find the posts from others...

Welcome to VJ and the "name check hole". My husband and I haven't waited as long as some, but we're at 9 months and counting.

Hello Guys , Thank you so much for your reply , I really appreciate , I read some thread also about the FBI background check and I find out that I am not alone on this situation. How I wish they will moved fast ...what the girl to me and my husband the FBI is running 2 weeks behind and untill now I never heard from them . I cant wait to have my approval soon , how I wish .

two weeks is VERY ambitous. most dont go over 6 months after filing (NOA) date.
