I got my NOA 2 on January 4, 2018. In the letter it says to wait for further correspondance from NVC but I see in many discussions to call NVC to get my case number and IIN number and to give them 2 working email addresses. What should I do? And Should I call NVC in a week or two to give them my email addresses and try to get my case number? or wait? I have read the guides..this stage is not clear in the guides or other discussions

You need to wait 2weeks or more before you can contact NVC ok

You still have to wait a few more weeks until USCIS sends your approved case to the Department of State (NVC) or (DOS) .. (It's the same).

After NVC receives it as in two weeks more there you have to start call them to see if they already assigned a new case number and Invoice ID!
