Hello, my husband submitted our documents to NVC and we called and was told our scan date was 28th November 2017. It's 6 weeks now and we got a message just few days ago stating we left 3 pages unfilled in the AOS online form and we were instructed to fill the blank pages which was left untouched because it wasn't relating to us. Does it mean that they will put my case on hold or start counting another 6-8weeks from the day we fill the blank pages? Is it a problem?

Please help

You can't leave anything blank on that form even if it doesn't pertain to you, you will either put NONE, N/A or ZERO where it calls for numbers..I am thinking you will receive a checklist and once you correct that and send back to NVC, the clock starts all over again back to the 6 to 8 weeks...

Okay. But we only got a mail from them and nothing like checklist. Or is the mail also known as a checklist? Thanks

You supposed to submit the whole AOS documents including blank pages. It is good to write N\A or NONE. They will not penalized you for not writing N\A or None but they will penalized you if forgot to send whole documents (all 12 pages). Unfortunately, they might hold you another 4-6 weeks unless they tell you to bring it during interview

Oh yeah. We didn’t know, we filled all page 1 to 9 and ignored 10-12 because it wasn’t applicable. Please how did you fill your 10-12?

Call NVC tomorrow and see what can be done about it..Ask if you can submit another form and mail it in or take to the interview...

You cannot submit 10-12 pages, you will need to submit whole AOS document again or if its ask you to bring it during interview. You supposed to get a formal email with instruction for your checklist (if you have to submit AOS now, then they will send you a checklist cover)

Calling NVC will not make any difference because NVC Helpdesk has very little information regarding what is going on behind the scene. She needs to follow instruction from the checklist email

@Zaynab Fatai I either emailed or called NVC and the agents were able to assist me on that matter or at least steer me in the right direction...From  reading your post it looks like you need to complete the last 3 pages of the form and send back NVC asap and even it means putting N/A or NONE that doesn't apply to your situation...As far as putting your case back in the queue for another 6 to 8 weeks, that I don't know, but that's what usually happens. Good luck on your journey!!

Oh yea! We got the checklist and a mail. So we will send them another AOS tomorrow. But will it start counting all over again, will our previous scan date be ignored? I just want a CC 😊

We just got our i 130 approved but I am wondering besides the I 864 what else does the petitioner (documents)  have to send in with that, or will the beneficiary have to do the documents?? Any help appreciated just trying to get everything done and ready so not so stressful in the end :)
